H1, the connecting force for global healthcare provider, clinical, science, and research information, today announced that it has been recognized in two prestigious annual lists: Y Combinator’s 2023 Best Companies List and Slice of Healthcare’s Inaugural Digital Health Leaders list. These honors are a testament to H1’s mission and dedication to revolutionizing the future of healthcare by making healthcare information and evidence-based medicine accessible to everyone globally.

Y Combinator’s 2023 Top Companies List

H1 is proud to be named a top private company for 2023 by Y Combinator, the largest startup accelerator in the world. In addition to being included in the latest list, H1 has earned a spot on the Y Combinator’s Top Companies list for the past two years in a row.

Y Combinator picks its top companies lists from the more than 4,000 companies that it has worked with over the years and evaluates them based on various factors, including growth potential, product quality, and team strength. This year, the list was divided between top private companies, top public companies, top exits, and top breakthroughs. Each company on the top private list is valued at over $150 million – and many have reached unicorn status at more than $1 billion.

“Y Combinator is one of the most prestigious startup accelerators in the world, having funded and mentored some of today’s hottest companies including Airbnb, Reddit, and Stripe,” said Ariel Katz, H1’s CEO and co-founder. “Being included in this list for the past two years is a testament to our hard work and dedication to improving healthcare outcomes through data-driven insights, and significant validation that our company is on the right path.”

Slice of Healthcare’s Top 35 Digital Health Leaders List

Katz was also named to Slice of Healthcare’s first-ever Top 35 Digital Health Leaders of 2023 list, which recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the digital health space and are driving innovation within the industry. The list was compiled after an extensive research process that spanned over six months; key factors considered for the honorees included their impact on the industry, outsider conversations, funding, partnerships signed, customers signed, experience, role, and the “it” factor.

“This is a very cool honor for me personally, and I’m in great company amongst accomplished leaders making an impact in the digital health space, including CEOs, Chief Medical Officers, serial entrepreneurs, first-time founders, and seasoned leaders. It’s nice to be recognized for my commitment to improving healthcare, but I don’t do any of this alone. I have a very strong team behind me and this is also a testament to their hard work,” Katz said of the honor.
